A place on your Home Screen

Add TRIPIN to your Home Screen for quick access to places, events and adventures.

  1. Open the Share menu

    In Safari, tap Share — the square with an upward arrow. Depending on your toolbar, it may be inside the More (…) menu.

    In Safari’s compact layout, tap More (…) beside the address bar, then Share. If your toolbar already shows the square with an upward arrow, tap it directly.

  2. Select Add to Home Screen

    Scroll down the Share menu to find Add to Home Screen.

  3. Tap Add

    Keep Open as Web App switched on if it appears, then tap Add. Open TRIPIN from its new Home Screen icon.

Can’t find the option?

Scroll to the bottom of Safari’s Share menu and choose Edit Actions. Add Add to Home Screen to the list. Browser layouts vary, so check the Share menu even if its button is in a different place.

Chrome

  1. Open the Share menu

    In Chrome on your iPhone, tap Share to the right of the address bar.

  2. Select Add to Home Screen

    Scroll down the Share menu to find Add to Home Screen.

  3. Tap Add

    Keep Open as Web App switched on if it appears, then tap Add. Open TRIPIN from its new Home Screen icon.

Open your browser’s menu and look for Share, then Add to Home Screen. If that option isn’t available, use Safari instead. Some in-app browsers cannot add websites to your Home Screen.

Open these instructions in Safari

Open the Safari app and type the address below into its address bar. This website cannot switch every browser to Safari automatically.

TRIPIN’s places and trips are designed for mobile. Open this address on your iPhone or Android phone, then choose Get TRIPIN on your phone from the menu.

You can still use the website’s available pages here. If your browser offers Install app in its address bar or menu, you can use that option to create a separate window. Installation does not change which features support desktop.

Adding TRIPIN does not download every place or map. Download supported Offline Trips before losing your connection; other features still need internet access.
