About Taylor Gill Force

Taylor Gill Force is a waterfall in the upper Borrowdale landscape near Seathwaite and Seatoller. The setting is one of steep Lakeland fells, with the paths towards Styhead Tarn and Great Gable making this an area for a proper hill walk. The National Trust’s wider circular route from Seatoller climbs beyond Stockley Bridge and returns by Grains Gill; it is a challenging outing of about 11 kilometres, rather than a short waterfall stroll. Choose a route suited to your experience and check the forecast before setting out. Rugged paths, uneven ground and rock steps need good footwear. The attraction is the combination of falling water and the mountain scenery of the Lake District.
