Why Go Here

Paphos Castle is a compact stone fort at the western end of Kato Paphos harbour. Built on the site of an earlier Byzantine harbour fort, the surviving structure reflects a 1592 Ottoman rebuilding of a Frankish tower with Venetian additions, giving one small monument several layers of the city's maritime history.
