About The Halfway House

The Halfway House is a family-run free house in Cornwall’s Glynn Valley, just off the A38 between Bodmin and Liskeard. Its beer garden takes in the surroundings of the valley and River Fowey, while an open fire makes the lounge bar inviting in colder weather. Restaurant and bar meals are served, with changing specials and Cornish produce used where possible. Local and national ales feature alongside other drinks. It is a useful break in a journey, but the valley setting also rewards making time for a leisurely meal.
