About Heddon's Mouth Circular
Ancient woodland, river, lime-kiln history and a coastal finish make this one of Devon's best short valley walks. Distance: 2 miles (3.2 km). Typical route time: about 1 hour. Difficulty/terrain: Easy; valley paths with a brief road/traffic section. Take care on the short road section and around river/coast edges. Start near the National Trust gift shop in Heddon Valley, SS655480. Use the signed Heddon Valley parking arrangements and check current National Trust terms. No separate trail fee; National Trust parking terms may apply. Use care on the brief road section. Rocks by the river and shore can be slippery.
