The Dartmoor Way includes unwaymarked/open-moor sections; carry map/compass or equivalent navigation and use poor-weather alternatives where the official route provides them. Start in Chagford using the official stage guide. Use legal Chagford parking/public transport and arrange return from Okehampton.
