About Wray Valley Trail

A mainly traffic-free former-railway trail linking Bovey Tracey, Lustleigh and Moretonhampstead. Distance: 11 km (7 miles). Terrain/difficulty: Mainly traffic-free shared gravel trail with a gradual incline; one roughly one-mile road section is narrow and steep in places. About one mile uses Lower Knowle Road between Bovey Tracey and Lustleigh; take extra care because it is narrow and steep in places. Shared with cyclists and horse riders. Start from Court Street car park, Moretonhampstead (TQ13 8LG), or Station Road car park, Bovey Tracey (TQ13 9SB). Both recommended start towns have identified public car parks; check current local tariffs. Check current access, parking and any transport or managed-site charges before travelling.
