About Lundy Island Wildlife Walk

A four-mile Lundy circuit across open island tracks with seabird, seal and lighthouse interest. Distance: 4 miles (6.4 km). Typical route time: about 2 hours. Difficulty/terrain: Moderate; level to undulating island tracks. Day-visitor sailings operate seasonally and depend on the current timetable, tides and weather. Only assistance dogs are permitted on Lundy. Start and finish at the Marisco Tavern area, Lundy, SS140440, EX39 2LY. Access to Lundy is normally by scheduled passenger transport; this is not a drive-up mainland walk. Check transport, landing and island travel costs with the operator. Sailings are weather-dependent. No non-assistance dogs.
